Lona Farr

Lona Farr, Ph.D., ACFRE has more than thirty-five years of nonprofit management experience and has been nationally recognized for her accomplishments in capital and annual campaigns, planned giving programs, volunteer management, public relations and marketing. Her special expertise is in the area of capital campaigns ranging in size from $400,000 to $50 million. She has helped organizations raise more than $385 million. Included in this total are five Kresge Grants secured for her clients since 2000. She was one of the first fourteen individuals in the country to earn the designation Advanced Certified Fundraising Executive (ACFRE) and is the past chair of the ACFRE Certification Board. A consultant for more than fifteen years, she served in leadership positions on the staffs Muhlenberg College, DeSales University, Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Hospital, and The Lutheran Home at Topton. She is a member of the adjunct faculty of Villanova University, an AFP master teacher, and has been designated a Faculty Star by the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education (CASE).
